 Why home baked? 

As pet owners, we all want what’s best for our furry friends, and one way we can ensure their health and happiness is by making homemade treats for them. By using natural ingredients and avoiding preservatives, we can provide our dogs with nutritious and delicious snacks that are free from harmful chemicals. We are not vets or nutritionists, but we do know there are more benefits to home made treats which are preservative and additive free.

One of the primary benefits of homemade treats is that we have control over the ingredients that go into them. We can choose high-quality, whole-food ingredients that are packed with vitamins and minerals, such as sweet potatoes, pumpkin, oats, and blueberries. These ingredients can help boost our dog’s immune system, promote healthy digestion, and support overall health and well-being.

Overall, homemade treats can be a great way to promote our dog’s health and happiness, and by avoiding preservatives and using natural ingredients, we can feel confident that we are providing our pets with the best possible nutrition. 

Storage of treats

Most products have a shelf life of up to 14 days when stored in an airtight container or in the original packaging. you can freeze the treats If you decide to freeze the treats but if YOU decide to keep the treats as frozen, please ensure these are thoroughly defrosted and soft before your pet eats them to avoid any choking hazards. 

As with all treats, pets should be supervised at all times when eating treats. Treats are a complimentary food and should be given in moderation alongside your pets existing diet.

Keep the treats stored in the packaging provided at a cool temperature, away from bright light or in air tight containers. 

We recommend for longer lasting treats, these are kept in the fridge for added freshness. As our treats have no additives and preservatives, their shelf life is limited as not as long as store bought treats. 

Advice

We advise that if your pet is sensitive or has allergies, you seek the advice of your registered Vets practitioner before the pawsome pets are given the treats. The ingredients are listed on the treats packaging but you are responsible for ensuring that your pet is not allergic to the ingredients contained in them. If you have doubts, seek advice from your vet.
